When Nisarg is not representing the US in international cricket tournaments, he is supervising clinical trials.

Nisarg Patel was born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He attended school in India before moving to the United States as a teenager, where his family settled in Southern California.

Nisarg holds a master’s degree in pharmaceutical science. He worked in England for several years at the local branch of an American pharmaceutical company and later transferred back to Los Angeles in a project management role.

On the field, he is a left-arm spinner. And apart from the US National Cricket Team, Nisarg plays with the Vijayta Cricket Club and Southern California Cricket Association. Like most immigrants, Nisarg has also had his citizenship status handicap his career on occasion. He comes from the modern home of Cricket (India), has played professionally in the actual home of Cricket (England), and is now trying to find cricket a new home (USA).
