Ravi Timbawala

A USC alumnus and accomplished cricketer, Ravi Timbawala has made his mark as a stylish top-order batsman for the US National Cricket Team. His journey in cricket began watching his father play in local leagues, quickly evolving from a 16-year-old prodigy in the 2006 U19 World Cup to becoming a cornerstone of American cricket. Unlike many of his teammates, Ravi’s cricket career was entirely shaped within the US system, making his story uniquely American.
Known affectionately as ‘Timba’ by his teammates, Ravi’s resilience shines through his remarkable comeback story. After a challenging ACL injury during his final year at USC’s Pharmacy School, he fought his way back to the national team. Ravi stands as a testament to perseverance, having transformed from a member of the national squad to chairing the men’s team selection committee, representing both USC and American cricket on the international stage.
